Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 27, 2026

At FG Vector, operated by falbergolf.com, s.r.o., we are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and protect your data when you use the FG Vector mobile application (the "Application").

Our core philosophy centers on a Zero-Touch, local-first data approach. We believe that your athletic practice data belongs to you, and we design our software to keep what can stay on your device on your device (above all your videos) while maximizing local on-device computation.

The controller of your personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is falbergolf.com, s.r.o., Bystrcká 1137/38, 624 00 Brno, Czech Republic. You can reach us at [email protected].

1. Data We Collect & How We Use It

We process data to provide the Application's analysis, training statistics and synchronisation across your iPhone, Apple Watch and compatible Garmin watch:

The Application does not contain Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

Your account data and calibration values are needed to provide the core functions of the Application. All other information (golf profile details, community features, AI coach, notifications) is optional.

2. Your Videos

Your swing videos are recorded, analyzed, and stored on your iOS device. Our cloud backs up numerical statistics, performance scores and bag configurations — not your video library.

When a Video Leaves Your Device:

A video leaves your device only in these cases: (1) you publish a shot as a post in the Application (“Post to FG Vector”) — the exported video of that shot and a thumbnail image are then uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage and shown on your profile to signed-in users and in the Feed of your followers and friends, until you delete the post or your account; (2) you share a video to another app through the iOS share sheet — the recipient app's terms and privacy policy then apply; (3) you attach a shot video in the support chat (section 1, Support Chat); or (4) the Application uploads a diagnostic shot video (see below). Videos are not used to train AI models and are never sent to the AI coach or to Google AI. An exported shot video (a post or a video you share) has no sound: neither the impact nor your surroundings can be heard. Diagnostic shot videos and videos attached in the support chat are original clips with the sound recorded during the shot.

Diagnostic shot videos: If, in a camera session with at least 10 shots, the Application measures the ball on fewer than 60% of them, it uploads a few shots from that session to Firebase Cloud Storage after you close the camera, and only over Wi-Fi: shots it could not measure and, for comparison, one or two measured shots with the same club. Each is the original clip of the shot or the part of it around the impact — the full frame, showing you and anyone else in the picture, with the sound recorded during the shot — together with a small technical file (the measurement data of the shot, figures from your other shots that day and from your measured shots with the same club over the last 30 days, the camera and measurement settings, and your device model, iOS and app version). We use these videos only to find out why the measurement failed and to improve it. Only our team has access to them; they are stored with Google Firebase (section 5), and we do not share them with anyone else. They are deleted automatically 12 months after upload, and immediately when you delete your account; deleting a shot in the Application does not delete its diagnostic video. There is no switch for this in the Application: if you do not want it, write to us at [email protected] or in the support chat, and we will delete the diagnostic videos from your account, including any uploaded later, and will not use them. We can also switch this collection off remotely.

3. Data Deletion and App Uninstallation

Because your videos are stored on your device, you keep full control over them. This is how deletion works:

4. Legal Bases for Processing

5. Third-Party Services, Recipients & International Transfers

To deliver cloud synchronization and stable account environments, we rely on the service providers below, who process data on our behalf. The list also names the other recipients of your data (other users and apps you choose to share to); we share data only as described here:

International transfers: Some of these providers, in particular Google, may process data outside the European Union / European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (for recipients in the United States certified under it, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission. You can request further information about these safeguards at [email protected].

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

7. Children and Minors

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13; it does not accept a date of birth indicating an age under 13. If you are below the age at which you can consent yourself in your country (under Article 8 GDPR this is 15 in the Czech Republic, 16 in Germany and several other countries, and between 13 and 16 elsewhere in the EU), you may use the features that rely on consent — the Personal AI Coach, the community features (public profile, posts, likes and comments) and “Competition news” notifications — only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian; by accepting the Terms you confirm that you have it (see section 1 of our Terms). Prizes in Competitions are available to entrants aged 18 or over, and to younger entrants only with parental consent where local law allows (see section 12.1 of our Terms). If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete their account; if we learn that we process consent-based data of a minor without the required parental consent, we will delete those data. Parents or guardians can contact us at [email protected].

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive the data you provided to us in a portable format, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (including measurement diagnostics), and to withdraw your consent at any time. Many of these rights can be exercised directly in the Application (editing your profile, deleting shots, sessions, posts or coach reports, hiding your profile, deleting your account); otherwise contact us at [email protected]. We respond within one month. This includes the right to object to the records on the use of app features described in section 1. This also includes the right to object to diagnostic shot videos (section 2); there is no switch for them in the Application, so write to us.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you; Competition results flagged as implausible are reviewed by a person.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz), or the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application or the law changes. We will tell you about material changes in the Application or by e-mail before they take effect; the date at the top shows the current version.
